This week marks a turning point\u2014not just in my work, but in my confidence, my craft, and what I believe I can build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After months of steady growth, school setups, repairs, quotes, and late-night tinkering, I\u2019ve been offered and accepted an official contract with one of the big academy trusts to become their dedicated guitar technician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It still hasn\u2019t fully sunk in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What excites me most isn\u2019t just the scale of the contract\u2014it\u2019s knowing that the guitars I repair, clean, restore, and set up are going to end up in the hands of young players discovering music for the first time. If an instrument feels smooth, comfortable, and inspiring, that can genuinely shape a kid\u2019s entire musical journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My role will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Full guitar setups across multiple schools<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Restoring heavily used instruments<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Replacing worn potentiometers & hardware<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Cleaning and reviving basses & electrics<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Ensuring a consistent, reliable standard across the trust<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s the kind of work I\u2019ve always wanted to do\u2014creative, technical, hands-on, AND meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
